Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Tensor Compliance platform. By using the service, you agree to them.

What Tensor is, and what it isn't

Tensor Compliance is a compliance-automation platform. It maps sensitive data flows, evaluates controls, and produces evidence and reports. Tensor does not itself grant certification. Audits and certifications under SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other frameworks are performed by independent auditors and regulators.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the service in compliance with applicable laws and not to attempt to access data, accounts, or systems for which you are not authorized. You will not reverse engineer or attempt to disrupt the service.

Customer data and ownership

You retain ownership of all customer data you connect to Tensor. We process it on your behalf to deliver the service. Reports and outputs generated for your environment are yours to use, retain, and share with your auditors.

Service availability

We work to keep the service available and performant. Specific availability commitments are described in your subscription agreement.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement as set out in the subscription agreement. Upon termination, we will delete or return customer data per the agreed terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tensor disclaims implied warranties. Liability is limited as set out in your subscription agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
